Summary:A smart window apparatus of a vehicle is provided to make the best use of a battery of the vehicle by locally coloring a smart window according to incident rays, and to drive safely by preventing eyes of a driver from being dazzled. A smart window apparatus of a vehicle includes a smart window(10) divided into plural segments, a power supply unit(20), a light quantity detection unit(30) detecting incident rays on the smart window, a control unit(40) detecting the segment having the large quantity of light and providing control information, and a driving unit(50) partially coloring the segment by control information according to detected segments. The light quantity detection units are arranged in plural rows and plural columns of the smart window. The driving unit colors the detected segment locally by supplying power supply according to control information and gradually adjusting coloring density.
