Summary: | A delivery system of bioactive agents based on a polymeric drug carrier comprising an amphiphilic block copolymer and a polylactic acid is provided to increase delivery of the bioactive agents to a target cell for accomplishing the desired therapeutic effects of the bioactive agents. The delivery system of bioactive agents immobilized in the polymeric drug carrier is provided, wherein the polymeric drug carrier comprises (a) amphiphilic block copolymer consisting of hydrophilic block and hydrophobic block of which end hydroxy group is substituted by tocopherol group or cholesterol group and (b) polylactic acid derivatives having at least one carboxyl group in one end, wherein the polylactic acid derivatives are represented by the formula(I): RO-CHZ-[A]n-[B]m-COOM in which A is -COO-CHZ-, B is -COO-CHY-, -COO-CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2- or -COO-CH2CH2OCH2, R is hydrogen, acetyl, benzoyl, decanoyl, palmitoyl, methyl or ethyl group, Z and Y are each independently hydrogen, methyl or phenyl group, M is H, Na, K or Li, and n is an integer of 1 to 30 and m is an integer from 0 to 20. |
