Summary: | A method for extracting caffeine through supercritical fluid extraction is provided to be able to extract caffeine from an extraction material with high yield, thereby capable of using the obtained caffeine as oil-based cosmetic raw materials. The method is characterized in that an extraction material containing caffeine such as coffee, tea leaves, cola fruits and cacao is extracted with a supercritical fluid and capryl/caprylic acid triglyceride at a temperature of 31-100 deg.C under 72.8-500 atmospheric pressure through upward extraction or downward extraction. |
