An apparatus for preventing swing of a crane is provided to prevent swing of the spreader by installing a wire winding section in a boom and installing a guide section at an upper portion of the spreader. An apparatus for preventing swing of a crane includes a guide wire(150), a guide section(100), a wire winding section(120), a fixation section(140), a guide connection section, a wire pretensioner section, and a connection assisting section. The guide section is connected to the guide wire and is installed in a spreader of the crane to guide a container. The wire winding section is connected to a ship through a guide wire and can be moved to the right and left sides. The fixation section is connected to the wire winding section to fix the ship to the crane. The guide connection section connects the guide section and the guide wire. The wire pretensioner controls swing of the ship. The connection assisting section supports the guide wire.
