Provided is a kimchi refrigerator, which allows aging and/or storage of kimchi under optimized conditions depending on underground temperatures, and realizes a taste of kimchi like that of kimchi naturally aged and stored in a pot under the ground. The kimchi refrigerator comprises: a main body; an inner casing formed in the main body and having an inner space; a heat exchanger for heating or cooling the outer circumferential surface of the inner casing; an underground temperature button mounted on one side of the outer circumferential surface of the main body; and a control unit that is connected to the underground button and controls the heat exchanger so that the kimchi is aged and/or stored depending on variations in underground temperatures of the winter season. The control unit controls aging of the kimchi according to a process including the first aging period for decreasing the temperature gradually, the second aging period for maintaining the temperature for at least 15 days, and the third aging period for increasing the temperature gradually.
