Summary:A food managing refrigerator is provided to manage initiation time data for food keeping and periods of circulation of food without manual inputting of users. A food managing refrigerator includes a photographing unit(21) for obtaining images for food, and a controller such as a microcomputer(30) for storing the photographed images to a storing unit as food managing data. A counter(23) calculates date and time of the photographing of the food, wherein the date and time data is included in the food managing data and stored in the storing unit. An input unit(22) is for a user to input periods of circulation of food, which are stored in the storing unit as the food managing data. The controller calculates food keeping time by reading the food managing data and displays the same via a display unit(25).
