Summary: | Disclosed is a conductive polymer wherein a matrix of a conductive polymer obtained by oxidative polymerization is coated with at least one organic sulfonate composed of an organic sulfonic acid anion and a cation other than transition metal cations, or a conductive polymer wherein at least one organic sulfonate composed of an organic sulfonic acid anion and a cation other than transition metal cations is contained in a matrix of a conductive polymer obtained by oxidative polymerization. The conductive polymer is excellent in conductivity, heat resistance and moisture resistance. By using such a conductive polymer as a solid electrolyte, there can be obtained a highly reliable solid electrolytic capacitor whose characteristics hardly deteriorate under high temperature, high humidity conditions. |
