Summary: | It is intended to provide a method of constructing a hybridoma producing an antigen-specific antibody with the use of an antigen-specific B lymphocyte and a method of producing a monoclonal antibody. The method of constructing a hybridoma producing an antigen-specific antibody comprises selecting a B lymphocyte reacting specifically with a certain antigen (an antigen-specific B lymphocyte), culturing the thus selected antigen-specific B lymphocyte, and fusing the antigen-specific B lymphocytes having proliferated by the culture with myeloma cells to give hybridomas. Using a hybridoma constructed by this method, a monoclonal antibody is produced. |
