Summary: | A method of making dumplings containing plant-derived organic selenium having anticancer and antioxidant effects by allowing dumpling stuffing to contain selenium is provided. Therefore, the consumer can take selenium beneficial for human health during eating dumplings. A suitable amount of Na2SeO3, Na2SeO4, selenium yeast complex, organic selenium fermented with a microorganism and organic selenium chelated with various proteins or vitamins is diluted with water and then mixed with raw material for dumplings to allow dumpling stuffing to contain 1 to 50micrometer selenium on the basis of dumplings for one person. Then the dumpling stuffing is covered with dumpling skins. The raw material for dumplings contains vegetables such as dried sliced radish, cabbage, leeks and bean curd(tubu), salt, red pepper and chopped meats. |
