Summary:PURPOSE: A system and method for searching mobile information are provided to allow a user to input a request for desired information as a free text only one time. CONSTITUTION: A mobile unit(100) includes a display unit(102) and an input unit(104). A server manages information request(106) transmitted from the mobile unit(100). The information request(106) inputted one time to the mobile unit(100) can be transmitted through one of a plurality of information search channels(108,110,112) managed by the server, or through all of the channels simultaneously. The server includes a storage unit for storing a result of the information request(106) and a unit for returning the result to the mobile unit(100). The mobile unit(100) includes a connection unit for connection to the server, and the connection unit supports continuous connection to a network.
