Summary:PURPOSE: A heat releasing structure of a case used for a communication equipment is provided to enhance reliability of cooling, reduce a unit cost by using a small number of blow fans, and make a cooling unit light. CONSTITUTION: A door(30) is rotatably installed at a front side of a main body(20) to allow a maintenance and repair operation in a system. A plinth(40) is provided to install a cable of the system at a lower end portion of the main body(20). A heat sink(50) is provided at a rear surface of the main body(20). Upper and lower shelves(22,24) divide an internal space of the main body(20), in which various circuit boards and units are mounted. A heat exchanger(60) is installed at the inner space of the upper shelf(22) and maintains an inner temperature of the system within a certain range. An air inlet is formed at a front surface of the upper shelf(22) so that external air can be supplied to the heat exchanger(60) therethrough. Air outlets are formed at a front surface and at a side surface of the plinth(40) so that the air circulated in the heat exchanger(60) can be discharged through a certain path.
