Summary:PURPOSE: A record reproducing device and a device for recording/reproducing A/V(Audio/Video) signals with CONSTITUTION: A memory(104) temporarily stores a digital signal. An I/O(Input/Output) part(101) inputs/outputs a recording/reproducing control signal and the digital signal. A controller(102) performs two different controls for the first and the second recording medium(200,300) based on the control signal of the first system inputted to the I/O part. An arbiter(103) processes time-division by arbitrating the digital signal among the first recording medium, the second recording medium, and the memory. The digital signal recorded in one recording medium is reproduced/recorded to another recording medium without passing the I/O part.
