PURPOSE: An automatic parking brake release device is provided to prevent fuel consumption generated in traveling a vehicle while a parking brake is operated and to restrict a brake cable from drooping downward by self-weight of an actuator by fixing an actuator housing to a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: In a parking brake system of a vehicle for operating a parking brake by pulling a brake cable(22) with a parking brake lever, an automatic parking brake release device is composed of a parking brake lever position sensor(40a) for detecting the position of the parking brake lever; a speed sensor(40b) for detecting the traveling speed of the vehicle; an actuator(200) inserted and connected in the middle of the brake cable to release an operation of the parking brake by loosening the brake cable and to return the parking brake to an original state by pulling the brake cable; and a control unit(30) for switching power to the actuator by judging vehicle states from a signal input from the sensors.
