Summary:PURPOSE: An operation device is provided to secure selection and switch functions in changing gear levels with one electric motor and to selectively input at least three different target gear levels from an output unit without shifting to a middle gear level. CONSTITUTION: An operation device(1) actuates at least two switch elements(42,44) having at least one first combining region(50,52) for operating a regulating element and a gap from each other. A driving shaft(10) having a first thread profile(20) is driven in two directions by a motor(12). An adjusting unit(28) is rotatively received on the first thread profile of the driving shaft by a second thread profile complementary for the first thread profile. A control element(30) combined with the adjusting unit in a rotation-fixed method acts as the driving shaft is rotated together with the adjusting unit, when the driving shaft is turned in a first rotational direction. At least one second combining region(54) supplied on the adjusting unit is positioned on at least one first combining region of at least one switch element. The control element controls the operation of at least one switch element and axial displacement of the adjusting unit about the driving shaft when the driving shaft is turned in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction. The second combining region is positioned in the first combining region of the switch element.
