Summary: | PURPOSE: Provided is photocurable and antistatic resin composition useful for coating optical fiber by comprising photo-polymerizable urethane acrylate oligomer, photo-polymerizable monomer, photo-initiator and antistatic agent to minimize failure of process caused by static electricity during the process. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) 40-70 wt.% of photo-polymerizable urethane acrylate oligomer, (B) 15-50 wt.% of reactive monomer, (C) 0.5-10 wt.% of photo-initiator, and (D) 1-30 wt.% of antistatic agent. The oligomer can be synthesized from a composition comprising (i)polyol copolymer, (ii) polyisocyanate, (iii) acrylate alcohol, (iv) urethane reactive catalyst and (v) polymerization initiator. |
