PURPOSE: A washing method of a washing machine is provided to decide an operation mode of a temperature sensor and an electrode sensor and to execute a washing course by an optimal washing algorism according to the operation state of the temperature and electrode sensors. CONSTITUTION: A washing method of a washing machine is composed of steps for setting operation states about a temperature sensor and an electrode sensor after applying power to the washing machine(step1,step2); judging operation modes of the sensors according to the set operation state of the temperature and electrode sensors(step3); setting a washing algorism according to the operation modes of the sensors(step5,step8,step9); and executing a washing course according to the set algorism(step6). The operation states of the temperature and electrode sensors are set by pressing an operation button for controlling the sensors by a user.
