Summary: | PURPOSE: A method of determining a lane of front vehicle is provided to prevent danger of collision by calculating and maintaining a safety distance between a front vehicle and a posterior vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Data related to a front vehicle is received by operating a radar(110,120). The obtained data is analyzed to determine whether the same data is continuously received during two following frame periods or not(130,140). Data of an angle is calculated(150). The calculated data is compared with a data region of a front vehicle in the same lane(160). A safety distance between the front vehicle and a posterior vehicle is calculated(170). The safety distance is compared with a practical distance between the front vehicle and the posterior vehicle(180). An alarm signal is generated according to a compared result(190). |
