PURPOSE: A wireless Internet access repeater and its method are provided to allow a user to easily receive a wireless Internet service in a shadow area by removing interference of the same frequency signals. CONSTITUTION: The first transmitter/receiver(20) transmits/receives a signal with the first frequency band according to the first communication method to/from a wireless Internet access network. The second transmitter/receiver(40) transmits/receives a signal with the second frequency band according to the second communication method to/from a user terminal. An MAC conversion/management unit(70) processes data of the first communication method inputted from the first transmitter/receiver(20) into a format according to the second communication data method and transfers it to the second transmitter/receiver(40), and processes data of the second communication method inputted from the second transmitter/receiver into a format according to the first communication data method and transfers it to the second transmitter/receiver(40). An operation controller(80) controls transmission/reception repeating transferred according to the first and second communication methods.
