Summary:PURPOSE: A bumper apparatus of a vehicle is provided to prevent the knee of the pedestrian from being injured by deforming and pushing the back beam back and restricting deformation of a reinforcing member in bumping the pedestrian into the bumper. CONSTITUTION: A bumper apparatus of a vehicle is composed of a bumper cover(1), a back beam(2) arranged in the center of the bumper cover and combined with a body, and a reinforcing member(10) horizontally combined with the lower inside of the bumper cover and a carrier(4). A hook(11) is formed in the front of the reinforcing member, and combined with a fixing projection(13) formed in the lower inside of the bumper cover by fitting. A slit is formed in the rear part of the reinforcing member, and the reinforcing member is fastened to the lower part of the carrier by a screw. A rib(15) of the bumper is fastened to the lower end of the bumper cover by a clip, and the slit is opened.
