Summary: | PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve a light-recognizing efficiency and an optical characteristic of a light-detecting part, realize small thickness of the LCD, and simplify manufacturing process of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(112) and a data line(111) are formed on the first glass substrate. The first switching element(113) is electrically connected to the gate and the data lines. A light-detecting part(120) is formed to output position information by using an outside light. A contact element connected to the first switching element is formed by a roll print method. A color filter layer and a pixel electrode are formed, wherein the pixel electrode is connected to the contact element. Herein, the light-detecting part is formed by forming the first sensor line(121), the second sensor line(122), the second switching element(123) driven by the outside light, and the third switching element(124) transmitting the signal generated from the second switching element to the second sensor line. |
