Summary: | PURPOSE: A method and a device are provided to reduce time required to reach a rotational speed corresponding to a normal operation, by feeding an over-voltage to an induction motor. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of accelerating an induction motor, by permitting an inverter to increase an output frequency thereof until the output frequency reaches a frequency level corresponding to a normal operation, and generating an output for increasing an AC voltage to an over-voltage state in correspondence to the output frequency; and a second step of lowering the AC voltage to a voltage level corresponding to the normal operation when the rotational speed of the induction motor has achieved a predetermined speed. |
