Summary:PURPOSE: A cleaning device of a water leakage detector in steel-making process is provided to automatically clean the dust sticking onto a detecting bar of a water leakage sensor installed at the end portion of a gas cooler without separating the water leakage sensor. CONSTITUTION: An outer case(24) is installed to surround a detecting bar(18) of a water leakage sensor. A spring(22) attached with a cleaning tool(26) is mounted between the detecting bar and the outer case to surround the detecting bar. An air line(28) and a nitrogen purge line(29) are installed near a flange(17) of the water leakage sensor to be communicated with the interior of the outer case.
