PURPOSE: Preparing methods and systems for health assistant functional food containing phytoestrogens derived from pomegranate seeds are provided, thereby cheaply preparing a large quantity of health assistant functional food containing phytoestrogens which is useful for prevention and treatment of symptoms in women caused by deficiency of estrogen. CONSTITUTION: The method for health assistant functional food containing phytoestrogens derived from pomegranate seeds comprises the steps of: (a) selecting pomegranate seeds having L value of 57-60, a value of 10-13 and b value of 20-23 using a colorimetry and preheating the selected pomegranate seeds; (b) pulverizing the preheated pomegranate seeds to 20 to 100 meshes; (c) mixing the pulverized pomegranate seeds with water, ethanol or a mixed solvent thereof; (d) heating the mixture at 50 to 90 deg. C for 3 to 20 hours to obtain an extract of pomegranate seeds; and (e) stationing or stirring the extract of pomegranate seeds at 35 to 65 deg. C for 1 to 6 hours to concentrate the extract of pomegranate seeds to 32 to 40 Brix.
