Summary: | PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus and a method for automatic controlling correction of flatness of tension leveler to improve quality of products by automatically and immediately applying the measured error values to a flatness compensation unit after accurately measuring flatness error values for actual operation results at the tension leveler. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises flatness measuring sensors (20,21) installed in rear of the tension leveler (4) to output the measured correction degree by measuring correction degree for flatness correction results; a flatness measuring sensor control panel (22) for outputting a driving signal to the flatness measuring sensors and transmitting measuring results of strip flatness correction degree detected in respective sensors to the main control panel; an electric unit main control panel (10) for performing shape correction by the moving range of shape correcting compensation units for a target moving value with measuring results of the flatness measuring sensors being reflected and transmitting a direction to the respective shape correcting compensation units of first and second intermesh units (2,3), anti-bow unit (12) and anti-chamber unit (13), and displaying the operation results on a screen (23) to monitor the operation results through the screen by measuring a product flatness error between a set target flatness value and operation results on a coil to be worked on and performing compensation control based on the measured product flatness error. |
