Summary: | PURPOSE: A reference voltage generating circuit used for semiconductor integrated circuit is provided to set temperature dependency of reference voltage within a range between a predetermined positive temperature characteristic and a predetermined negative temperature characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A first constant current circuit(1) has a positive temperature characteristic and outputs a first constant current. A second constant current circuit(2) has a negative temperature characteristic and outputs a second constant current. A current synthesizing circuit(3) synthesizes the first constant current and the second constant current in order to generate a third constant current. The first and second constant currents are synthesized according to a predetermined ratio for forming a temperature characteristic of the third constant current between the positive temperature characteristic and the negative temperature characteristic. A current-voltage converting circuit(4) is used for converting the third constant current into a voltage to generate a reference voltage. |
