Summary: | PURPOSE: A method of making ham containing selenium having antioxidant effect by adding vegetable powder containing selenium during the manufacture of ham is provided. It enables the consumer to take selenium without any conscious effort during eating the ham. CONSTITUTION: The titled ham is prepared by adding vegetables, green juice, fruit juice, powder or the like containing inorganic selenium such as Na2SeO3, a selenium-yeast complex during the manufacture of ham. It is also prepared by mixing and agitating with fruit juice, powder and raw vegetable of vegetables, leafy vegetables, root vegetables, fruits and vegetables, fruits, special crops, tea containing germanium and selenium. |
