Summary:PURPOSE: A broadcasting service method in a wireless communication system is provided to assign broadcasting service IDs to each broadcasting service controller, respectively, thereby perceiving the availability of broadcasting service parameters while changing the broadcasting service controllers in a cell where a terminal is located. CONSTITUTION: An MS(160) receives a broadcasting service from a BCMCS server(120)(300), and receives an ID of the second broadcasting service controller(310). The MS(160) performs traffic channel setup and PPP setup procedures(315,316), and requests information on the second broadcasting service controller(320). A DNS(130) supplies a corresponding IP address(325). The MS(160) requests information on serviced broadcasting service contents(330), and receives broadcasting service information and traffic channel information from a BS(150a)(340). The MS(160) receives the broadcasting service through a new PDSN(140a)(350).
