PURPOSE: An air cleaner is provided which filters and collects fine noxious substances by passing polluted air through a fibrous type filter and a filtering cloth through which water is circulated in the state that water is absorbed into the filtering cloth. CONSTITUTION: The air cleaner comprises a case(2) which is formed in a certain shape, on one side surface of which a suction port(4) for sucking an external air is formed, and on the other side surface of which an exhaust port(6) for exhausting the air sucked through the suction port is formed; a blower installed in the case to exhaust the sucked air to the exhaust port side by sucking the external air through the suction port; a pair of first filters(20) installed between the exhaust port and the blower of the case with being spaced apart from the exhaust port and the blower in a certain distance; and second filter installed between the one pair of first filters to absorb water supplied through a water supply unit so that the absorbed water slowly flows down the second filter, wherein the one pair of first filters are formed in a porous fiber shape, and at least any one of the first filters is coated with chitosan, and wherein the second filter comprises one or more plies of filtering cloth(32) installed with being spaced apart from each other in a certain gap, and supporting members(22) which support corner end parts of the filtering cloth, and in an upper part of which a receiving space(36) for receiving water is formed, and the water supply unit comprises a water supply can(42) in which water is stored, and which is formed in a lower part of the case, and a water supply pump(44) for transferring the sucked water into the receiving space of the second filter by sucking water of the water supply can.
