CONSTITUTION: A surgical tool comprises a proximal handle assembly(40); a distal end device assembly(13); a flexible first tubular member interposed between the handle assembly and the device assembly; an advanced element extended through the first tubular member, wherein the element has a proximal end and a distal end, and the proximal end is connected to the handle assembly, wherein the handle assembly moves the element in a longitudinal direction with respect to the first tubular member; and a ratchet element arranged at an end of the handle assembly in the vicinity of the distal end device assembly, wherein the ratchet element interacts with the element to limit movement of the element.
