PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing a mobile communication service by using a virtual number are provided to provide the same mobile communication service as that of a subscriber of an own company to a subscriber of a different company by using a virtual number. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber of a different company is connected to a wireless access gateway of the different company through a terminal of the different company. The wireless access gateway of the different company extracts a pre-set virtual number corresponding to a number of the different company(S605), is connected to a wireless access gateway of an own-company by using the virtual number and requests a connection to a desired wireless Web server(S610). The radio access gateway of the own company extracts a server identifier to identify the wireless Web server(S613), and is connected to the wireless Web server(S615). The wireless Web server extracts a requested service(S620) and transmits it to the wireless access gateway of the own company(S625). The wireless access gateway of the own company transmits the service to the radio access gateway of the different company(S630). The radio access gateway of the different company maps the number of the different company corresponding to the virtual number and transmits the service to the terminal of the different company(S635).
