Summary:PURPOSE: A sound-absorbing material for a vehicle and a device for forming the same are provided to improve working efficiency by forming, trimming, and piercing both surfaces of forming materials simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A device for forming a sound-absorbing material is composed of an upper press die for pressing one surface of softened forming materials, a lower vacuum forming die(30) for vacuum-forming the other surface of the softened forming materials, an upper pad(22) installed at the upper press die and having a first curved surface(21), and a lower pad(32). The lower pad is installed at the lower vacuum forming die, and has a second curved surface(31).
