Summary:PURPOSE: A molecular chemical compound having the structure capable of displacing electron and emitting light and a photoluminescence quenching device employing the compound are provided, to improve a fluorescence quenching property, to reduce the electric field required for quenching phosphorescence and to enhance photoluminescence quantum efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The molecular chemical compound allows electrons to be displaced easily, can emit light, shows dipole moment characteristic only in excited state, and comprises the chemical structure where an electron donor are combined with an electron receptor by a conjugated bridging element. Preferably the structural element of the electron donor is an aromatic amine or a condensed cycle system; the conjugated bridging element comprises a phi-conjugated carbon bond; and the structural element of the electron receptor is selected from the group consisting of a condensed aromatic ring system, a monosubstituted, disubstituted or trisubstituted phenyl group, an imide an aromatic polycarboxylic acid and its anhydride, and an oxazole compound.
