PURPOSE: A method for recovering a receiving data error in a mobile communication system supplying an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service) is provided to request an RNC to retransmit an MBMS control signal if a UE(User Equipment) does not receive the MBMS control signal, thereby receiving MBMS data without an error. CONSTITUTION: A UE completes a radio bearer setup procedure for receiving MBMS data(401). The UE receives the MBMS data transmitted from an RNC(402). The UE decides whether an error is generated in the transmitted MBMS data(403). The UE decides whether a timer starts and the first setup time elapses(411). The UE requests the RNC to retransmit an MBMS control signal(431), and re-receives the MBMS control signal(432). The UE compares a version number transmitted from the RNC with a version number stored in the UE(433). The UE changes MBMS control information and the version number into the received MBMS control information and the version number(441), and restores the MBMS data.
