Summary:PURPOSE: A navigation server and a display method for navigation are provided to notify a user of a traffic jam point or zone by presenting statistical traffic jam information on a map. CONSTITUTION: A navigation server(107) is provided with information from a traffic information providing center(100), and presents and provides information on a terminal according to the information. A first storage unit(125) stores information provided from the traffic information providing center. A traffic jam statistical information making unit(121) generates traffic jam statistical information including the traffic jam information in a predetermined point and a predetermined zone and a reliability of the traffic jam information based on the information stored in the first storage unit. A second storage unit(126) stores information generated by the traffic jam statistical information making unit. The information stored on the second storage unit is presented and provided on the terminal upon a request of the terminal or at a predetermined timing.
