Summary:PURPOSE: An electric ventilator is provided to improve cooling efficiency and to expand life span of the electric ventilator by reducing an absorption loss of a cooling wind for cooling a motor. CONSTITUTION: An electric ventilator includes a motor frame having an opening at an upper portion thereof. The motor frame is formed with a ventilating hole(1a) at a side thereof and includes a bearing housing formed at a lower center portion thereof. A bracket(5) is fixed to the opening of the motor frame. A bearing housing is provided at a center portion of the bracket(5). A motor(2) is supported by the motor frame and the bracket. The motor(2) includes a rotor and a stator. A cooling fan and a blowing fan are provided to discharge air. A partition member(9) is provided to separate the cooling fan from the motor. A wind guide(9b) is mounted at a center portion of an intake hole(12a) of the partition member(9). The wind guide(9b) closely adheres to an outer peripheral portion of the bearing housing of the bracket(5).
