Summary:PURPOSE: A method for preparing methylchlorosilane by means of direct-synthetic process is provided, thereby improving productivity of dimethyldichlorosilane and trimethylchlorosilane which are useful components in industry, and removing a preparation process of contact mass of silica powder and copper. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing methylchlorosilane comprises directly reacting silica powder with methane chloride using 1 to 5 parts by weight of copper per 100 parts by weight of silica powder as catalyst and 0.004 to 0.03 parts by weight of tartar, 0.014 to 0.042 parts by weight of phosphorous, and 0.05 to 0.3 parts by weight of zinc as co-catalyst, wherein the copper is a mixture of two compounds selected from CuCl, Cu2O, CuO, oxidized copper and copper metal; the tartar is copper-tartar alloy(bronze) or tartar powder; the phosphorous is copper-phosphorous alloy or Cu3P; and the zinc is selected from zinc powder, zinc chloride and zinc oxide. 본 발명은 직접합성법에 의한 메틸클로로실란 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 분말규소와 염화메탄(CHCl)을 원료물질로 하고, 구리를 촉매로 사용하며, 아연, 주석 및 인을 조촉매로 사용하되 그 조성성분비를 일정하게 한정함으로써, 산업상 유용하게 사용되는 성분인 디메틸디클로로실란 및 트리메틸클로로실란의 생성량을 증가시킬 수 있으며, 또한, 분말규소와 구리의 중간체(contact mass)제조공정을 생략할 수 있어서 제조공정을 단축할 수 있는 재현성이 우수한 직접합성법에 의한 메틸클로로실란 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
