Summary: | PURPOSE: A water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic composition including an oily ingredient, dipolyhydroxy stearate polyoxyethylene, silicone compounds and an aqueous ingredient is provided. It optionally contains silicone oils, side-chained C14-30 fatty acid ester or organic-modified clay minerals and thus has good skin compatibility and high moisturizing effect, leaves no sticky feeling and provides high tautness and softening feeling after use and good stability for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: The water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic composition comprises: (a) 6 to 50% by mass of an oily ingredient containing silicone oil; (b) 0.3 to 6% by mass of a dipolyhydroxy stearate polyoxyethylene; (c) 0.2 to 6% by mass of a silicone compound of the formula:R1aR2bR3cSiO(4-a-b-c)/2; (d) an aqueous ingredient and additionally (e) organic-modified clay minerals. In formula, R¬1 is an organic group selected from the group consisting of C1-30 alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, fluoroalkyl and -CmH2m-O-(C2H4O)d(C3H6O)eR¬4, plural type R¬1s is the same or different; R¬2 is polyoxyalkylene group of -CmH2m-O-(C2H4O)f(C3H6O)gR¬5; R3 is an organic siloxane group of the formula:-CnH2n-R¬1R¬1(SiO)h-SiR¬13; R¬4, a,b,c and the like are defined in the specification. The silicone compound has an average molecular weight of 500 to 200,000. |
