Summary: | PURPOSE: A sealed container, a manufacturing method therefor, a gas measuring method, and a gas measuring apparatus are provided to accurately measure a gas flow while maintaining a vacuum atmosphere in an image display device by attaching an air evacuation pipe to the sealed container. CONSTITUTION: A sealed container comprises an air evacuation pipe(105) having a breakable vacuum isolation member, and which is arranged on at least one side of the sealed container. A method for manufacturing sealed containers comprises a step of arranging a plurality of first substrates and second substrates, and producing a plurality of sealed containers by bonding in an air-tight manner the first and second substrates in such a manner that the inside of the sealed container has a pressure maintained at the level lower than the atmospheric pressure; a step of producing at least one of sealed containers, as a sealed container for measurement having an air evacuation pipe with a breakable vacuum isolation member; and a step of measuring the gas in the sealed container for measurement, by breaking the breakable vacuum isolation member. |
