Summary:PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of a display panel is provided to reduce a circuit size of a plasma display panel without degrading a contrast of the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus for driving a display panel having a plurality of row electrodes, a plurality of column electrodes, and a capacitive light emission device. The driving apparatus has a scan driver, a sustain driver(SUD), and a reset driver(RSD). The scan driver generates a scan pulse for operating the capacitive light emission device to either one of an ON-state and an-OFF state based on a first voltage. The sustain driver generates a sustain pulse for controlling the capacitive light emission device set to the ON state to emit light according to the second voltage, and applies the scan pulse to the row electrode. The reset driver generates a reset pulse for initializing the state of the capacitive light emission device based on a sum of the first voltage generated by the first power source and the second voltage generated by the second power source, and supplies the reset pulse to row electrodes.
