Summary:PURPOSE: A self-pumping hydropneumatic spring strut with an internal level control system is provided to automatically control damping over the entire stroke range of a working piston, without the aid of external activating devices, with an increasing charge or else with the corresponding discharge in the tension and compression stage. CONSTITUTION: A self-pumping hydropneumatic spring strut(1) with an internal level control system comprises a working cylinder(27) arranged in a high pressure chamber(3) and filled with an inhibitor under pressure of at least one gas padding working by a spring; a piston pump driven by the movement of the spring; and a speed control hole closed according to the position of a working piston(28) in the working cylinder. The working cylinder is divided into two working chambers through the working piston supported by an empty piston rod(5). The piston pump carries the inhibitor to the working chamber connected to the high pressure chamber from a low pressure chamber(2). In the piston pump, a pump cylinder is formed by the empty piston rod. A bore of a pump rod(6) is connected to the low pressure chamber. The speed control hole connects the working chamber connected to the high pressure chamber with a speed control channel communicating with the low pressure chamber.
