PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing barrier ribs for plasma display panel is provided to reduce manufacturing procedures and loss of barrier rib material. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing barrier ribs for plasma display panel comprises a step(S51) of mixing a paste material for barrier ribs; a step(S52) of forming barrier ribs on the substrate where an address electrode and a dielectric layer are formed, by using a screen mask; a step(S53A,S53B) of solidifying the paste material by using a radiation curing method or a heat curing method; a step(S54) of separating the screen mask from the substrate; and a step(S55) of baking the barrier ribs. The barrier rib has a shape of stripe, well or delta. 본 발명은 격벽 제조시 공정을 간소화시키도록 한 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 격벽 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 격벽 제조방법은 어드레스전극 및 유전체층이 형성된 기판 상에 100㎛ 이상의 격벽 형상을 가지는 스크린 마스크를 정렬하는 단계와, 스크린 마스크를 이용한 스크린 인쇄법으로 소정의 점도를 가지는 격벽용 페이스트를 인쇄하는 단계와, 광경화 및 열경화법 중 어느 하나를 이용하여 격벽용 페이스트를 경화시켜 격벽을 형성하는 단계와, 스크린 마스크를 상기 기판으로부터 분리하는 단계와, 격벽을 소성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
