PURPOSE: A device for feeding paper with a double transfer preventing function is provided to prevent double-transfer by compressing rear ends of a plurality of sheets of paper loaded under the topmost sheet of paper. CONSTITUTION: A cassette(10) is loaded with a plurality of sheets of paper(13). A paper separating member(11) is installed at a front end of the cassette and blocks front ends of the plurality of sheets of paper. A pickup roller(20) is installed at the upper part of the cassette and rotates with compressing the top side of the topmost sheet of paper to transfer the plurality of sheets of paper. A double-transfer preventing element(30) is installed at a rear end of the cassette and compresses rear ends of the plurality of sheets of paper loaded under the topmost sheet of paper. The double-transfer preventing element includes a compression member(31) compressing the rear ends of the plurality of sheets of paper, and an elastic member(33) giving compression force to the compression member. 본 발명은 전자사진방식 화상형성기에 2장 이상의 용지가 동시에 급지되는 중송(重送)을 방지할 수 있는 기능을 갖는 용지급지장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 중송방지기능을 구비한 용지급지장치는 다수매의 용지들이 적재되는 카세트와, 카세트의 전단에 설치되며 이송되는 용지들의 선단을 저지하는 용지분리부재와, 카세트의 상측에 설치되며 맨 위 용지의 상면을 가압하면서 회전하여 상기 용지들을 이송하는 픽업롤러와, 카세트의 후단에 설치되며 이송되는 맨 위 용지의 아래에 적재된 용지들의 후단을 가압하는 중송방지수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 여기서, 중송방지수단은 용지들의 후단부를 가압하는 가압부재, 및 가압부재에 가압력을 주는 탄성부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
