PURPOSE: A paper separating guide of a feeding cassette for printing apparatus is provided to prevent the generation of picking errors caused by thick papers and overlapping by thin papers, thereby using various papers conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A paper separating guide(50) of a feeding cassette for printing apparatus is mounted in the front part of the cassette(10) with a predetermined inclination in the paper advancing direction. The paper separating guide has different friction coefficients per the stacking height(H) of papers, wherein the friction coefficient is maximum at a portion where a paper positioned on the bottom surface of the cassette contacts. The friction coefficient of the paper separating guide is changed by forming protrusions(51) with different height. 본 발명은 두꺼운 인쇄용지가 최대로 적재된 경우에도 픽킹 에러가 발생되지 않는 인쇄장치용 급지카세트의 용지분리가이드에 관한 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명에 의한 인쇄장치용 급지카세트의 용지분리가이드는, 인쇄용지의 선단이 닿는 위치에 따라 용지분리가이드의 표면 마찰계수가 다른 것을 특징으로 한다. 이때, 마찰계수는 인쇄용지가 닿는 위치에 따라 직선적으로 변화하거나 또는 단계적으로 변화하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
