PURPOSE: A home networking system using a cellular phone is provided to execute a phone emulator application for controlling a cellular phone, and to use functions of the cellular phone, thereby using the cellular phone as one application by using an input/output device. CONSTITUTION: A power line(1) constructs a network of a home networking system. A cellular phone(2) interworks with various home appliances through the power line(1) when being mounted on a charger, and supplies calling and text message service functions. A PC(3) executes a phone emulator application for controlling the cellular phone(2), and uses the functions of the cellular phone(2). A TV set(4) has a data processing function through the power line(1), and displays a text message transmitted to the cellular phone(2). 본 발명은 홈 네트워킹과 휴대폰 간의 연동을 통해 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은, 홈 네트워킹 시스템의 네트워크를 구축하기 위한 전력선(1)과; 충전기 및 상기 전력선(1)을 통해 각종 가전기기들과 연동상태로 되어 통화, 문자정보 서비스 기능, 등을 제공하는 휴대폰(2)과; 상기 휴대폰(2)을 제어할 수 있는 폰 에뮬레이터 에플리케이션을 실행시켜 이 휴대폰(2)의 기능들을 사용할 수 있도록 하는 피씨(3)와; 상기 휴대폰(2)으로 전송되어 온 문자 메시지를 디스플레이하는 텔레비젼수상기(4)에 의해 달성된다.
