Summary:PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing at least one goniochromatic coloring agent and other reflective particles different from the goniochromatic coloring agent in a physiologically acceptable medium is provided. It creates a desirable volumizing effect when applied to the skin, lip, or a support such as the cuticle. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition contains: a physiologically acceptable medium; one or more goniochromatic coloring agents; and one or more reflective particles different from the goniochromatic coloring agents. The reflective particles are selected from the group consisting of particles having natural or synthetic substrates coated at least partially with at least one layer of at least one metal, particles having synthetic substrates coated at least partially with at least one layer of at least one metal compound, especially a metal oxide, particles produced by at least a stack of at least 2 layers having different refractive indices wherein at least one of the layers is a polymer, and metal oxide particles.
