Summary: | PURPOSE: A TDD(Time Division Duplex) UE(User Equipment) with a low chip rate is provided to reduce the power of a high chip rate and low chip rate TDD type system during a full or partial DTX(Discontinuous Transmission) operation mode. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessing unit(106) has an input terminal for receiving a receiving sample of a receiving burst and an output terminal for generating a code power measurement value and a quality measurement value of the receiving burst. A detecting unit(112) has an input terminal for receiving the processed sample and the code power measurement value and the quality measurement value of the receiving burst and an output terminal for generating the indication of inactive timeslots. A receiver on/off control unit(116) has an input terminal for receiving the indication of the inactive timeslots and an output terminal for generating a control signal and inactivating parts of a receiver during a timeslot indicated by the inactive indication. |
