PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating frequencies is provided to generate various frequencies by two band-classified VCOs(Voltage Controlled Oscillators) and one frequency mixer for enhancing the accuracy of the mixed frequency. CONSTITUTION: The first and second VCOs(10,20) generate inter-different frequencies, and output the inter-different frequencies. The first and second switches(32,33) transmit or does not transmit the frequencies outputted from the first and second VCOs(10,20) to a next terminal according to the control of an on/off signal. A frequency mixer(40) mixes the frequencies outputted from the first and second switches(32,33), additionally generates frequencies corresponding to addition and subtraction, and outputs the frequencies. Four BPFs(Band Pass Filters)(51-54) filter the frequencies outputted from the frequency mixer(40) according to bands, and output the filtered frequencies. 본 발명은 주파수 발생 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 기존에 사용하던 대역별 전압제어발진기를 주파수혼합기를 이용하여 다양한 주파수를 발생시킬 수 있게 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 각기 다른 주파수를 발생시켜 출력하는 전압제어발진기와; 상기 전압제어발진기로부터 출력되는 주파수를 온/오프 신호의 제어에 따라 다음 단에 전달하거나 전달하지 않는 스위치와; 상기 스위치로부터 출력되는 주파수를 혼합하여 합과 차에 대응한 주파수를 추가 생성하여 출력하는 주파수혼합기와; 상기 주파수혼합기로부터 출력되는 주파수를 대역별로 필터링하여 출력하는 대역통과필터로 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 주파수혼합기를 사용하여 각기 다른 대역의 주파수를 생성하여 사용하므로 전압제어발진기의 수를 줄이고 주파수혼합기 다음단에 대역통과필터를 덧붙여 불필요한 다른 대역의 주파수를 제거하므로 시스템의 전체적인 성능 향상을 가져오는 효과가 있다.
