Summary:PURPOSE: A method for photocatalytic oxidation and decomposition of CO in a high efficiency at ordinary temperature and atmospheric pressure using platinized TiO2 photocatalyst is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the process of performing phototreatment by irradiating ultraviolet rays onto the solution in the state that a substrate on which TiO2 particles are coated into is dipped into a solution containing Pt precursor and TiO2 hole scavenger, wherein the Pt precursor is chloroplatinic acid hydrate, and wherein the TiO2 hole scavenger is formate. 본 발명은 대기 오염물질인 일산화탄소(CO) 가스의 효과적인 산화분해처리에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따라 나노크기의 백금(Pt) 입자를 TiO입자 위에 광증착(photodeposition)시켜 고정화한 광촉매를 사용하면 상온 및 상압에서 높은 효율로 CO를 광산화분해시킬 수 있다.
