PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically detecting defects of rolling roll is provided to find surface defects of the rolling roll automatically, promptly and accurately by using distance sensor and ultrasonic induction coil. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a roll fixing stand(6) on which rolling roll(1) is mounted so that the surface of the rolling roll(1) is measured; a position control part(20) installed on the roll fixing stand(6); a vertical bar(27) moved horizontally and vertically by horizontal position control motor and vertical position control motor installed at the position control part(20); a sensor part(10) mounted on a lower part of the vertical bar(27); and a user computer unit(40) which records and displays the operation processed data by operation processing measured data of the surface of the roll detected in the sensor part(10) and generates position control signals for controlling the horizontal position control motor and vertical position control motor, wherein the sensor part(10) comprises a plate connected to moving stand, a main body part connected to the plate with spring being positioned between the plate and main body part, a transfer wheel installed at an edge of both sides of the main body part, ultrasonic induction coil and remote distance sensor installed in the main body part, and cover plate mounted on a lower part of the main body part to protect the ultrasonic induction coil and remote distance sensor. 본 발명의 목적은 압연롤의 표면 결함을 거리센서와 초음파 유도코일을 이용하여 자동적으로 신속하고 정확하게 측정할 수 있는 압연롤 결함 자동 검출장치를 제공하는 데 있다. 본 발명의 압연롤 결함 자동 검출장치는 표면 측정을 위한 압연롤(1)이 장착되는 롤고정대(6)와, 상기 롤고정대에 설치되는 위치제어부(20)와, 상기 위치제어부에 설치되는 수평위치제어모터 및 수직위치제어모터에 의해 수평 및 수직 이동되는 수직바(27)와, 상기 수직바의 하단부에 장착되는 센서부(10)와, 상기 센서부에서 검출된 롤표면 측정데이터를 연산 처리하여 기록 표시하고 상기 수평위치제어모터 및 수직위치제어모터를 제어하기 위한 위치제어신호를 발생하는 사용자 컴퓨터장치(40)를 포함하며, 상기 센서부(10)는 상기 이동대와의 결합을 위한 플레이트(18)와, 상기 플레이트와의 사이에 스프링을 두고 결합되는 본체부(16)와, 상기 본체부의 양쪽 가장자리에 설치되는 이송바퀴(11)와, 상기 본체부에 내장되는 초음파유도코일(31) 및 원격거리센서(33)와, 상기 본체부 하부에 장착되어 상기 초음파유도코일과 원격거리센서를 보호하기 위한 피복판(32)을 포함한다.
