PURPOSE: A tuning method is provided to eliminate the necessity of performing an additional tuning by using a short-ended dummy cavity. CONSTITUTION: A tuning method comprises a first step of calculating an impedance inverter value of the cavity by using a normalized coupling matrix and a termination of a filter; a second step of determining the size of a slot(111) by measuring the intercavity coupling; a third step of separating the filter into short circuits; a fourth step of tuning a first cavity(101) with a dummy cavity(201) by coupling the dummy cavity having the structure same as the structure of a second cavity connected to the first cavity; a fifth step of removing the dummy cavity and coupling the first cavity and the second cavity; and a sixth step of repeatedly performing the third to fifth steps over a plurality of cavities. 1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야 단락된 더미 공동을 이용한 공동필터의 동조 방법에 관한 것임. 2. 발명이 해결하고자 하는 기술적 과제 단락된 더미 공동을 이용함으로써 추가적인 동조가 요구되지 않는 필터 동조 방법을 제공함. 3. 발명의 해결 방법의 요지 슬럿의 위치에서 상기 필터를 단락회로로 분리하는 단계, 상기 공동 중 제1공동에 연결되는 제2공동과 동일한 구조의 더미 공동을 결합시켜 상기 제1공동과 상기 더미 공동을 동조시키는 단계, 상기 더미 공동을 제거하고 상기 제1공동과 상기 제2공동을 결합시키는 단계를 포함함. 4. 발명의 중요한 용도 공동필터의 동조 방법에 이용됨.
